Genesis

  1. 1:1  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
  2. 2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
  3. 3  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
  4. 4  And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
  5. 5  And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
  6. 6  And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
  7. 7  And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
  8. 8  And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
  9. 9  And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
  10. 10  And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
  11. 11  And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
  12. 12  And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
  13. 13  And the evening and the morning were the third day.
  14. 14  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
  15. 15  And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
  16. 16  And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
  17. 17  And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
  18. 18  And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
  19. 19  And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
  20. 20  And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
  21. 21  And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
  22. 22  And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
  23. 23  And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
  24. 24  And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
  25. 25  And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
  26. 26  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
  27. 27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
  28. 28  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
  29. 29  And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
  30. 30  And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
  31. 31  And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
  32. Psalms

  33. 8:1  <> O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
  34. 2  Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
  35. 3  When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
  36. 4  What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
  37. 5  For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
  38. 6  Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
  39. 7  All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
  40. 8  The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
  41. 9  O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

  74. 2:7  And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
  75. Psalms

  76. 8:5  For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
  77. 6  Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

  80. 139:13  For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
  81. Jeremiah

  82. 1:5  Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
  83. I Corinthians

  84. 15:20  But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
  85. 21  For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
  86. 22  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
  87. 23  But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
  88. 24  Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
  89. 25  For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
  90. 26  The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
  91. 27  For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
  92. 28  And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
  93. Genesis

  94. 3:16  Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
  95. 17  And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
  96. 18  Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
  97. 19  In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
  98. 21  Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
  99. Revelation

  100. 5:9  And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
  101. Titus

  102. 2:11  For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
  103. 12  Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
  104. 13  Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
  105. 14  Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
  106. Revelation

  107. 11:15  And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
  108. 20:4  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
  109. 22:1  And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
  110. Isaiah

  111. 11:1  And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
  112. 2  And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
  113. 3  And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
  114. 4  But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
  115. 5  And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
  116. 6  The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
  117. 7  And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
  118. 8  And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
  119. 9  They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
  120. Ephesians

  121. 2:10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
